Frank Morelli, LMHC leads the monthly OCD Support Group meeting held on the first Thursday night of each month. Frank is a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist who dedicates a significant portion of his practice to treating individuals and families with OCD.
Our meetings are held at Ten Broeck Hospital located at 6300 Beach Boulevard just east of University Boulevard. We meet on the second floor of the brick administration building on the first Thursday night of each month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Both the meeting location and room are easy to find and parking is convenient and plentiful.
What does this mean for you? As with any therapist-led support group, there is a high degree of focus in addressing each participant's particular issues. Frank guides the group in meaningful discussion and mutual support and helps members to set personal goals. While some come to listen and learn others actively contribute. You will be free to do either. There is no pressure to perform and everyone's wishes are respected!
The OCD Therapist-Led Support Group is flexible. This means individual issues can be discussed. At times the group may elect for Frank to speak on a particular topic. Sometimes members even help each other outside of the group in order to achieve their unique goals. All members can expect their privacy and confidentiality to be respected at all times. As always, you are welcome to bring your spouse or significant other.
A fee of $15.00 per person per month is collected for the therapist-led group. For those who choose to attend with a spouse or significant other the fee is $25.00 per couple. Only money orders or checks can be accepted and these should be made payable to "Optimum Behavioral Care, Inc." CASH, CREDIT, OR DEBIT CARDS CANNOT BE TAKEN AT THIS TIME!
